Branch Manager (Dearborn - Dix Ave. branch)

The Branch Manager is responsible for: directing and administering the operational efforts of the branch; training, directing, and supervising branch staff; and ensuring the branch staff is providing members with exemplary service and following service standards. Bilingual (Spanish or Arabic) speaker preferred.

Applicant should have the ability to coach and develop team members. Must have a good working knowledge of basic computer software, email software, IM software, use of the internet, and the ability to learn internal use software. 

Experience: At least 3 years of supervisory experience and 5 years of experience in a financial institution.

Education: A high school diploma or GED. An Associate’s degree or higher degree preferred.

Member Service Representative (Livonia and Dearborn branches)

The MSR position is responsible for performing a variety of member services such as greeting members, opening and closing accounts, submitting loan applications and closing loans. Perform related duties to assist members with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments. Identify and suggest solutions that will improve our members economic well- being. Present and explain Credit Union products and services to members and assist them in meeting their financial needs. Answer questions and solve problems for members by listening to the problem, researching and collecting data and securing answers, and reporting results to the member.

Applicants should be member-focused, enthusiastic, teachable, and the ability to work in a team environment. The applicant must have excellent communication, listening and telephone skills.

Central Service Representative (Job location will vary as needed)

The Central Service Representative (CSR) position offers coverage at each of Parkside’s branches as well as in the Remote Services/Virtual Service Representative areas (may cover for an employee on leave of absence, PTO, short-staffed, etc.) The CSR is responsible for performing a broad variety of member service tasks such as greeting members, opening and closing accounts, assisting members with submitting loan applications and closing loans. Perform related duties to assist members with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments, and providing broad member service support across the organization.

Applicants should have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work under pressue. Must also have the ability to perform basic math skills and use decimals to compute ratios and percentages as well as have a good working knowledge of basic computer software, email software, IM software, use of the internet, and the ability to learn internal use software.
