Have you had the opportunity to check out our Westland branch recently? If you haven't previously heard about our project or seen the construction firsthand, we are excited to let you know that Parkside is currently renovating and expanding our Westland location at 1747 S. Newburgh Rd. This project includes the construction of a 12,000-square-foot administration building as well as large scale updates to the existing branch. We kicked the project off on March 8, as Westland Mayor William Wild joined in at our official groundbreaking ceremony. We are happy to report that construction has proceeded on schedule and we are on track to complete the project in 2018.

The Westland branch will remain open throughout the duration of this project, and we wish to express our appreciation for your patience with any minor inconveniences that arise as a result of the construction. We feel certain that the decision to undergo this project was the right one for our members and for our staff! Janet Thompson, Parkside President & CEO, shares some perspective on the importance of this project: “Bringing our administrative departments together under one roof will allow the credit union to create efficiencies, ultimately providing a more streamlined experience for our members. We are also looking forward to the opportunity to create closer ties with the community.”
