Member Update: COVID-19

Published: 03/12/2020

As your financial partner we continue to monitor developments regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus). Parkside Credit Union recognizes that some of our members may be negatively affected by this global outbreak, and as always, our focus is the safety and well-being our members, employees, and the communities we serve; our thoughts are with those who have been impacted. To that end, we stand ready to work with those experiencing financial difficulty as a result, and we are taking the necessary steps to avoid potential disruptions of service to our members.

Financial Hardships

Should you encounter hardship as a result of COVID-19, please call us at 734.525.0700 (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9 a.m. -  5 p.m.; Wednesday 10 a.m. -  5 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.).

Business Continuity

We understand the serious nature of member access to account funds and information. Parkside Credit Union has contingency plans in place that are designed to prevent service disruptions for any number of scenarios. These include remote access capabilities, alternate work locations for employees, and continuity plans for critical operations.

Select Parkside Credit Union technology solutions are dependent on specific components provided by third party business partners. We are actively working with our key business partners to ensure they are proactively updating their business continuity plans as COVID-19 and its possible impact evolve.

Facilities

Parkside Creidt Union will continue to share health and wellness information from the CDC with employees and members visiting our branches. Employees are being asked to take personal precautions and practice healthy habits to prevent the spread of illnesses.

Our offices remain open to staff and visitors; however, we are encouraging anyone who exhibits a fever and is sick and contagious to please stay home.

Member Recommendations

We strongly encourage you to leverage all of the available electronic tools and resources for self-service banking and 24/7 account access through our mobile, online, and voice banking services. Through these channels you can check balances, transfer funds, deposit checks, or find the nearest ATM. If you are not enrolled in online/mobile banking and you need assistance with the process, please contact us at 734.525.0700.

While it is impossible for anyone to predict the spread of COVID-19 and to fully understand its impact, it does not alter Parkside's focus on continuing to serve you. We have the people, technology, products, services, and tools to do just that. We will continue to keep you informed if and when there are significant updates.

Thank you for your membership.
